An Important Life Lesson
When you are at a fancy restaurant, and you ask the waitress for some water, and she asks you "Still or sparkling?" what do you say to prevent yourself for having to pay eight dollars for a pint of Norwiegan tap water? Do you say sparkling? Do you say still? No! You say tap!

Or if you're in France, you say, "un carafe d'eau, s'il vous plait." Life lessons translate to other cultures...
But the question remains: What do you say in Norway?
"Hey dit gam la slem spet."
Actually, that totally doesn't apply to water and it's also a Swedish phrase. But you will get a really shocked look out of the waitperson because Norwegians understand it.
"Hey there vulture la mucus horn?"
Well, okay; if you say so. Just as long as they don't charge me eight dollars for it.
I was tempted to get you a bottle of aformentioned water at Macys today!
Hey, we should take some to that restaurant next time, so when they ask us what we want we can say, "Oh, that's okay, we brought our own."
